CADBURY DAIRY MILK HIDE THEM WITH LOVE MZANSI EASTER CAMPAIGN 2025

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The Terms and Conditions set out below apply to all qualifying persons (“Participant (s)”) submitting entries and taking part in the “Hide Them With Love Mzansi Promotion (“the Promotion”).

Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully. Participation in this Promotion will constitute your agreement to comply with the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions, please do not participate.

1. THE PROMOTION AND PROMOTER

1.1 The Promotion is conducted by Mondelēz South Africa Proprietary Limited, located at 6
Woodmead Estate, 1 Woodmead Drive, Woodmead, Sandton, 2191, South Africa, Tel: 011 253 4000 (“the Promoter”).

2. PROMOTION PERIOD

2.1 The Promotion will run from the 3rd of March 2025 to 22nd April 2025 (“the Promotional Period”).

2.1.1 The Promotion will have two prescribed periods/phases:
2.1.2 Launch Period running from the 3rd of March – 2nd of April 2025
2.1.3 360° Experience for the virtual Hide and Find running from the 3rd of April – 22nd April 2025

2.2 The Promotional Period may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Promoter. The promoter will notify participants of any material changes to the promotional period via the Cadbury Website (https://cadbury.co.za)

3. WHO MAY ENTER

3.1 All Participants in the Promotion must, at the time of entering the Promotion:

a) Be a natural person and be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age;
b) Be a citizen and/or a legal resident of the Republic of South Africa;
c) Be in possession of a valid South African Identify Document, resident/work permit and/or driver’s license; and
d) Be residing or present in South Africa for the duration of the Promotional Period and for the period during which the prize draws and the delivery or collection of the prize/s takes place.

3.2 All persons entering this Promotion (“the Participants”) agree that the Terms and Conditions, rules and provisions as set out herein are binding on them.

3.3 Participation in the Promotion excludes directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promoter or any third parties involved in the execution of the Promotion, either directly or indirectly (including but not limited to agencies, organisers and/or participating stores of the Promotion) as well as the members of the immediate family (being spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, fathers and/or mothers) and/or business partners or associates of any of the aforesaid persons.

4. HOW TO PARTCIPATE FOR THE PROMOTION

4.1 Participants are encouraged to purchase any 2 (Two) participating Cadbury Easter Products from selected stores:

• Cadbury Hollow Egg with Whispers® 100g
• Cadbury Hollow Egg with Astros® 100g
• Cadbury Hollow Egg 50g
• Cadbury Hot Cross Bun Slab 150g
• Cadbury Top Deck Bunnies Slab 170g
• Cadbury Caramel Egg 40g
• Cadbury Creme Egg 40gCadbury Mini Eggs 80g

4.2 No other Promoter Products are eligible for this Promotion other than the Participating Products listed in paragraph 4.1 above. The Participating Products are subject to availability at time of purchase.

4.3 Launch Period Mechanics

4.3.1 For a limited period (3rd March 2025 – 2nd April 2025), participants can visit https://easter.cadbury.co.za hosted on https://cadbury.co.za during the Promotional Period and participate in the online promotion.

4.3.2 Participants will click the link “(https://cus.campaigns.colonyhq.com/?kw=cdm-easter)”, found on https://easter.cadbury.co.za or on the Cadbury Hide them with love Mzansi Campaign Social Media Channels.

4.3.3 The link will direct you to the Hide them with Love Mzansi Competition Microsite. Complete the questions and upload your till slip showing your purchase of the 2 (Two) participating Cadbury Easter Products.

4.3.4 Multiple entries will be permitted, subject to each entry being submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements. (One entry per purchase / till slip).

4.4 Mzansi Hide 360° Experience

4.4.1 Participants will access the Mzansi Hide 360° Experience: https://easter.cadbury.co.za/mzansi360/

4.4.2 To participate in the experience, each Participant must hide a virtual egg in the virtual 360° world and share a clue to a chosen recipient/seeker. To initiate the hide, click on the Start Hiding (call to action) button and follow the easy steps to hide a virtual egg in the 360° experience world created for the Hide Them With Love Mzansi Promotion.

4.4.3 The Participant (Hider) will be able to share a clue link with the recipient (Finder) to aid their finding of the virtual egg and start the seeking. Recipient will also receive the same Cadbury Easter Egg as selected by the Hider (confirmation will come after successfully finding the virtual egg or at the end of the Promotion Period if seeker/finder is unable to find the virtual egg).

4.4.5 Please ensure as a Hider when asked to capture your Till Slip showing that you have purchased 2 x Cadbury Easter Participating Products that your slip clearly shows the following information:

a) The Date
b) The 2 x Participating Cadbury Easter Products

4.5 Entries will not be amended or withdrawn once submitted. Amendment to any entry after

4.6 Participants shall be solely responsible for the content sent in connection with this Promotion and the Promoter shall not be liable in any manner for any content sent in error or by mistake by the Participants.

4.7 Entries, costs and data charges are determined by the participant’s service provider.

4.8 The Promoter shall not be responsible for telecommunication failure or internet failure on the part of the participant’s service provider.

5. PRIZES

Launch Period Prizes
5.1 Participants who enter the Promotion during the launch period and submit a valid till slip, will be entered into a random selection prize draw and can stand a chance to WIN 1 of 80 x R300 cash prizes.
the submission deadline of the Promotion will not be considered and the Participant will be deemed to have withdrawn from the Promotion.
5.2 Should unforeseen circumstances prevent the draw from taking place on the set draw date, the draw will be moved to the next available date at the sole discretion of the Promoter.

Mzansi Hide 360° Experience Prizes
The 360° Experience (Promotion) will afford participants a chance to win various vouchers:

5.3 Superbalist vouchers are only redeemable on https://superbalist.com.
Vouchers are valid for 3 years from date of issue and it is the winner’s responsibly to check the issue/expiry date and to redeem the voucher within this deadline.

5.4 Le Creuset vouchers are only redeemable on: https://www.lecreuset.co.za. Vouchers are valid for 3 years from date of issue and it is the winner’s responsibly to check the issue/expiry date and to redeem the voucher within this deadline.

5.5 Grocery vouchers from Shoprite / Checkers are only redeemable in-store
(not online). Vouchers are valid for 3 years from date of issue and it is the winner’s responsibly to check the issue/expiry date and to redeem the voucher within this deadline.

5.6 eWallet vouchers are redeemable at an FNB ATM. eWallet vouchers expire after 14 days of receipt and must be redeemed from an ATM within 14 days, if not the voucher and relevant documentation will be forfeited and the prize will no longer be valid.

6. AWARDING PRIZES

6.1 Launch Period
6.1.1 cash prizes will be awarded via eWallet sent via SMS and redeemable at the bank ATM (FNB).
6.1.2 E-Wallets are cardless transactions and will require the participants mobile number and the unique code in the message, to redeem.
6.1.3 Winners do not need to have a FNB or any other bank account to redeem an eWallet.

6.2 Mzansi Hide 360° Experience

6.2.1 How to redeem a Superbalist Voucher:
• Winners will receive an email which includes a voucher code,
• Go to the site: https://superbalist.com/
• You must sign into your account, if you don’t have an account you must create an account.
• Go to the bottom of the page and click on “Account Info” and then click on “Wallet”
• Enter your voucher code in the block “Redeem a gift card”
• Your account will be credited and you can start shopping
• Vouchers are valid for 3 years after sale.

6.2.2 How to redeem a Le Creuset Voucher:
• Winners will receive an email which includes a voucher code
• Go to the site: https://www.lecreuset.co.za/
• Sign into your account, if you don’t have an account you must create an account.
• Shop online and add your product to “My Cart
• To redeem a gift voucher, provide the voucher 16-digit number code on the “billing page” of the checkout process
• Gift Vouchers purchased by registered users are valid for 3 years from the date of sale.

6.2.3 How to redeem a Grocery Voucher from Shoprite / Checkers :
• Once you receive your voucher, you must use it at a Shoprite, Checkers or Usave nationwide
• The digital voucher can only be used in-store (not online) by entering the unique voucher number into the pin pad at the check-out point.
• Vouchers can only be redeemed once, with no change given if the purchase value is less than the voucher value. The remaining value will be loaded onto a gift card in store.
• Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be redeemed at MediRite pharmacies or at Money Market counters.
• Vouchers are valid for three years.

6.2.4 How to redeem a eWallet Cash Prize:
• At the FNB ATM select the green button (Enter/Proceed) or select “Cardless Service”
• Select eWallet Services
• Key in your cellphone number and select proceed
• Key in the ATM Pin you received via SMS
• Select the amount you want to withdraw
• Take your Cash
• eWallets expire after 14 days of being sent

6.3 All prize finalists will be subject to a verification process. Winners will be confirmed only once the verification process has been completed. The verification process will take place as follows:

6.3.1 Winners will be drawn from entries with valid till slips (purchased 2 x Cadbury Easter participating products.
6.3.2 Winners will be contacted via telephone number they submitted upon entry into the Promotion.
6.3.3 Once the winner has been verified and confirmed to be 18 years and older, their prize will be awarded.

6.4 Any dispute relating to mobile number ownership (such as more than one individual claiming to be the owner of the same mobile/ contact number – verbally or otherwise) will result in immediate disqualification of both the number and the individuals and no negotiations will be entered into.

6.5 Cash Prizes must be redeemed from the ATM within 14 days of the message being sent and is the sole responsibility of the winner to do so.
6.6 Winners will accept prize as is and at their own risk.

6.7 Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable and may be forfeited, or be the subject of a separate draw, or be allocated to another winner at the Promoters' discretion.

6.8 In the event of death of the Prize Winner, no nominees or heirs or any other person shall be eligible to receive the prize and no claim from the nominee or their legal heirs or any other person shall be entertained for receiving the Prize.

6.9 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the prizes for a different prize of similar value.

6.10 The Promoter reserves the right to carry out reasonable due diligence to confirm eligibility and may refuse to award the prize to a participant if there is suspicion of any irregularities or fraudulent activities.

6.11 The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and/or disqualify any participant/winner that may bring the Promoter brands into disrepute.

7. INDEMNITY:

7.1 To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act and any other applicable law:

7.1.1 The Participant hereby indemnifies the Promoter, its associated companies (directors, officers and employees) and agents against any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages or loss of any kind regardless of how this was caused, and whether it arose under the law of contract or delict or otherwise, because of the Participant’s entrance to the Promotion.

7.1.2 The Promoter excludes all warranties (express or implied), representations and liabilities regarding the Promotion (other than for death or personal injury caused by its negligence and/or fraud).

7.1.3 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Participants (including but not limited to a Participant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to reject any Participant who has not complied with these Terms and Conditions.

7.1.4 Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

7.1.5 Neither the Promoter nor its agents or distributors will have any liability in relation to the Promotion.

7.1.6 By participating in the Promotion, Participants agree to allow marketing material to be sent to them from the Promoter during and after the Promotion Period by opting into receiving marketing communications from Cadbury South Africa.

7.1.7 Participants will have the option to Decline/Opt-Out with every SMS received, should they decide not to want to receive marketing or promotional communications outside of the promotion.

7.1.8 The Promoter reserves the right to carry out reasonable due diligence to confirm eligibility and help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Promotion will not bring the Promoter or any of the Promoter’s brands into public disrepute, contempt, scandal, or ridicule or reflect unfavourably on the Promotion as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion.

7.1.9 The Promoter will not be liable for any unforeseen defects in promotional materials supplied or manufactured by third parties.

7.1.10 The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone or network or lines, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on a mobile network, or any combination thereof, or any other technical failures including any damage to a participant or any other person's mobile handset or computer related to, or resulting from, participation in this Promotion or the downloading of any materials related to this Promotion.

7.1.11 No responsibility is accepted for any messages that are incomplete, unreadable, ineligible, corrupted, misdirected, lost or delayed or are unable to be sent/ published due to technical or transmissions failures of any kind or any other reason.

7.1.12 The Promoter assumes no liability whatsoever for any entry that has been omitted from participation for any reason whatsoever.

7.1.13 If the Promoter is required by any law, to alter any aspect of the Promotion or to terminate the Promotion as a result of changes in legislation, the Promoter will have the right to terminate this Promotion with immediate effect. In such event, all
participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against the Promoter and
acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against the Promoter, its agents and/or contractors.

7.1.14 In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any terms and conditions printed or displayed on any marketing materials published or broadcast in any media (such as but not limited to the internet, television, radio,
newspaper, magazines etc.) relating to the Promotion, the terms contained in these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

7.1.15 Any winning participant who does not take up the prize will be deemed to have forfeited the prize and the Promoter will not have any further liability on the matter.

8. CONFIDENTIALITY:

8.1 Participants of this promotion are voluntarily providing their personal information to the Promoter, its associated agencies and the third-party service providers running the Promotion in conjunction with the Promoter.

8.2 By entering this Promotion, participants authorise the Promoter to collect, store and use (not share) personal information of participants for communication or statistical purposes. Participants are entitled to decline any marketing communication and inform the Promoter in writing should the participant wish to be removed from all communication.

8.3 By entering this Promotion, the participant consents that the Promoter may use names and images taken of the winners/participants for publicity purposes, without any further remuneration being payable to the winner. All promotional material will become the sole property of the Promoter. However, the participant/winner has the right to decline participating in any promotional activity or to object to these images being used by written notification to the Promoter at No. 6 Woodmead Estate, 1 Woodmead Drive, Woodmead, Sandton, 2191, Attention: Legal Department. The written notification is to reach the Promoter by no later than the last stipulated draw date.

9. DATA PROTECTION TERMS:

9.1 The Promoter through subcontractors/sub processors may have access to specific information which can identify individuals who are consumers (known as “Personal Information” as defined by the Protection of Personal Information Act). The Promoter and its subcontractors shall comply with all laws and regulations applicable to “Personal Information” and any related information.

9.2 The Promoter through its sub-processors warrants that any “Personal Information” will be collected in accordance with applicable Data Protection laws.

By clicking “SUBMIT”, I confirm, that I have fully read, understood the Hide them with Love Mzansi Promotions terms and conditions as stated here and I agree to participate. I also confirm receiving communication from the Promoter about future promotions and offers.

9.3 Personal information will be retained as long as reasonably and legally required to perform the obligations under the terms of the Promotion.

10. GENERAL TERMS:

10.1 By participating, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

10.2 Any violation of these terms and conditions may result in disqualification from the Promotion.

10.3 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel the Promotion or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

10.4 The onus rests on the Participants to check the Promoter’s website for updates to the Terms and Conditions.

10.5 No liability shall lie on the Promoter in favour of any Participant, and/or third party arising from such cancellation, suspension, or termination. Therefore, the Participant waives his/her right which he/she may have against the Promoter and hereby acknowledges that he/she will have no right of recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against the Promoter.

10.6 The Promoter’s decision regarding winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

10.7 If in part or all of any clause of the Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or enforceable:

10.7.1 It will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible,
10.7.2 It will be severed from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will continue to have full force and effect.

10.8 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a different prize of
similar value.

10.9 Any dispute with number ownership (such as more than one individual claiming to be the owner of the same mobile/ contact number – verbally or otherwise) will result in immediate disqualification of both the number and the individuals and no negotiations will be entered into.

10.10 The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by or
associated with WhatsApp, Facebook, Threads, TikTok or Instagram.

10.11 The Promoter does not require Participants in the Promotion to send any
money or other consideration in order to participate or claim any prize in this
Promotion and the Promoter will not be liable for any losses or other damage
incurred by any person who does not heed this caution.

10.12 The Promoter reserves the right to withhold the prize from any person, and to
reclaim any such prize if any breach of these terms and conditions is subsequently discovered or suspected.

10.13 All Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of Republic of South Africa, and should a doubt or dispute occur, it will be taken before the courts of Republic of South Africa.

10.14 The Promotion is not applicable in conjunction with any other offers/promotions offered by the Promoter.

10.15 Taxes and/or any additional costs or fees (if incurred) by a winner in relation to a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
